Neuro-Linguistic Programming is concerned with the relationship between successful patterns of behaviour and patterns of thought underlying them. It is a system of alternative therapy which seeks to improve self-awareness and effective communication and to change patterns of mental and emotional behaviour.
In a nutshell, NLP looks at the language we use which affects our thoughts which in turn then affect our behaviours. By changing our negative language, we therefore change our thoughts and ultimately, our behaviour.
